
TOKSPORT WRT STARTS LMP3 PROGRAM
Toksport WRT will race in Adac Prototype Cup Germany With Ligier JS P320.
After completing many successful seasons in various GT categories and championships, Toksport WRT starts racing in the LMP3 category. In 2022, Toksport WRT will compete in ADAC Prototype Cup Germany, which consists four races including legendary tracks like Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps.
Toksport WRT’s LMP3 program lineup will include Turkish driver Berkay Besler and German driver Marvin Dienst. They will head to Belgium, Spa-Francorchamps to tackle the famous Eau-Rouge turn on 22-23 April. Remaining three races will take place on German soil; 15-16-17 July on Nürburgring, 19-20-21 August on Lausitzring and final race on 21-22-23 October taking place on another Formula 1 track: Hockenheimring.
The car they will be driving is a Ligier JS P320. LMP3 Spec car has a 5.6 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine made by Nissan and tuned by Nismo, producing 460 hp. With prototype grade aerodynamic properties and weighing only 950 kilograms, It is a proper thriller for both drivers and spectators.
