
Toksport WRT and Porsche Motorsport Is Ready For The New Journey
IN THE UPCOMING NLS 2 AND ADAC TOTALENERGIES 24H NÜRBURGRING RACES, TOKSPORT WRT WILL RUN PORSCHE 911 GT3 R DRIVEN BY A LIST OF EXPERIENCED AND SUCCESSFUL PORSCHE WORKS DRIVERS.
With a number of Le Mans class wins and Carrera Cup wins under their belts; Julien Andlauer, Mathieu Jaminet and Matt Campbell will drive Toksport WRT GT3R on the Nürburgring Nordschleife for 24 hours. Also for the NLS 2 race, compatriot Romain Dumas will be joining Julien Andlauer.
After participating in various championships with different generations and variations of 911’s in the past, Toksport WRT and Porsche Motorsport is racing together again. Reflecting the experience Toksport WRT gained in recent years while being apart with more than eighty race starts, including FIA GT World Challenge, DTM, ADAC GT Masters and many others, now this two parties aim even bigger achievements.
Starting this journey with bigger plans ahead, Toksport WRT and Porsche Motorsport will be on the track again for the first time on 1st of April in a test session on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. But the first official race will take place on 9th of April for the NLS 2 race; “NIMEX 46. DMV 4h-Rennen.” Julien Andlauer and Romain Dumas will drive Porsche 911 GT3 zR aiming a win, in the internationally renowned local four hour race. Being an Eifel based team, this race means a lot for Toksport WRT.
Later on, Andlauer will be back on the “Green Hell” once again on 6-9 May for 24 Hour race qualifiers. This time racing with Matt Campbell and Mathieu Jaminet. But the main challenge will take place between 26th and 29th of May.
Team will participate in one of the toughest and most challenging races in the world; the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring race. Racing on a 25.3 km track against with 145 cars and 700 drivers is the ultimate test for the men and the machine.
