Rally Hungary 2019, which has taken place in ERC calendar for the first time this year, was organised in Nyregyhaza/Hungary between 8-10 October.

Toksport WRT had registered 3 contestants for the last round of European Rally Championship; a Skoda Fabia R5 Evo in ERC1 on Chris Ingram-Ross Whittock, who were already leading the championship and fighting for the ‘Champions’ title.

Additionally, 2 Peugeot 208 R2s in ERC3 on Marijan Griebel-Alexander Rath and on Orhan Avcioglu-Burcin Korkmaz, in order to collect valuable points for teams cup.

At the end of this challenging rally, Chris Ingram-Ross Whittock managed to finish the Rally Hungary in 4th place overall, and won the ‘European Rally Champions’ title.

Marijan Griebel-Alexander Rath couple made a faultless drive during the rally, managed to finish 2nd in ERC3 class.

Unfortunately, Orhan Avcioglu-Burcin Korkmaz couldn’t manage to make it to the finish, due to an off-road incident.

According to the standings after the rally, Chris Ingram-Ross Whittock duo won the ‘European Rally Championship’ title, while ‘Toksport WRT’ was completing the 2019 European Rally Championship Teams Cup in 2nd place.
