Toksport WRT drivers scored the maximum points at Azores Rallye for ERC1 Junior. The opening round of FIA European Rally Championship had very difficult and tricky conditions and it was very challenging for drivers. Chris Ingram – Ross Whittock duo aimed to be on the podium for the overall classification and to win ERC1 Junior class for the rally. Despite having spins and flat tyres, they managed to win ERC1 Junior class and finish the race 3rd overall. It is the second time that Ingram wins ERC1 Junior at Azores Rally with Toksport WRT in a Skoda Fabia R5.

Toksport WRT’s Cypriot drivers Alex Tsouloftas and Antonis Chrysostomou did a very good job on their first experience in Skoda Fabia R5 and first time run at Azores Rally. They completed the rally second in ERC1 Junior and seventh overall. “Wow, what a rally! I never thought about it being this difficult, I’m really happy being second on the podium and those points for the ERC1 Junior, I’m really happy ” said Alex after the last stage. The next race of the Team will be Rally Canarias.
