Neil Simpson and his experienced co-driver Michael Gibson had to retire from ADAC Rallye Sulingen due to an engine failure in the last day of the rally. The British duo started their second rally in German Rally Championship with a top 5 finish target and they made very competitive times in the first day of the rally. Neil Simpson said he enjoys driving on tarmac even though some parts are slippery and tricky. It was unlucky for him to be out of competition with an engine failure.
The British duo Neil Simpson and Michael Gibson made their debut of German Rally Championship on Saarland Pfalz Rallye. It was a new experience and challenge on slippery muddy tarmac for the British driver but he managed to finish the rally in 5th overall in his Skoda Fabia R5. The next race for the duo will be at North West Stages Rally in UK.
