Toksport WRT completed the 2016 WRC season with Rally Australia. Khalid Al-Suwaidi and Marshall Clarke had the best result of the season and scored 12 points becoming 4th in their class. Despite having a puncture on first day and a mechanical problem on second day, Khalid said that he is happy with the result and his new car Skoda Fabia R5.
Khalid Al-Suwaidi completed the Rally GB in 10th position in WRC2 and have his first point for the championship. The rally took place in Wales under rainy and slippery conditions. Despite having a puncture and loosing 4 minutes on the first stage, they have completed the day in 14th place. They kept their pace for the second day and with a maximum attack on third day, they finished the rally in 10th position and took the points.
The last leg for FIA MERC has been completed with the Cyprus Rally. Toksport WRT drivers Khalid Al-Suwaidi and Mustafa Bulutoglulari had to retire and Abdullah Al-Kuwari finished the race 29th overall among 47 cars. Khalid Al-Suwaidi forced to retire after stage 2 with an engine problem after a long jump and a damage to radiator. Mustafa Bulutoglulari retired after stage 9 with a roll.
The next round of FIA Middle Eastern Rally Championship, 2016 Jordan Rally will be organized between 5thand 7th of May. TOKSPORT WRT will be again representing Turkey in this rally with three crews, two from Qatar and one from Turkey. There will be 11 different nationalities competing the rally and TOKSPORT WRT drivers Vedat Diker – Erdal Oral are the only team from Turkey.
Following the ceremonial start on Thursday 5th of May, crews will be competing in the super special stage of Abdali. 2016 Jordan Rally is has total of 640km where 19 special stages will be run on 222 km. Driving TOKSPORT WRT’s Ford Fiesta R5 and sponsored by Culture & Sport Qatar Rally Team the duo Khalid Al-Suwaidi and Giovanni Bernacchini are the biggest threat to the legendary status driver Nasser Al-Attiyah in this year’s rally. The team’s other Qatari driver Abdullah-Al Kuwari is aiming the group N Championship title in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. The experienced duo Vedat Diker – Erdal Oral are also competing in the group N championship in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. Multiple Turkish Champion Vedat Diker, is aiming the top spots of the podium in this rally after getting used to the tough conditions and unique challenges of middle eastern roads competing the first two rallies of the season.
The team who is following the championship from the first round has completed all their preparations for the rally. Running three cars in R5 and N4 classes, TOKSPORT WRT is aiming the top spots of the podium in this rally.

Competing with TOKSPORT WRT’s Ford Fiesta R5 and under the sponsorship of Culture & Sport Qatar Rally Team, Khalid Al-Suwaidi is currently in the second overall position in the championship after the first round in Qatar. His Qatari team mate Abdullah-Al Kuwari is in second position in his class and fourth overall in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X.
One of the Turkish crews entering this year’s Kuwait Rally is Vedat Diker – Erdal Oral. They will be competing in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X and aiming the podium in Group N class. Vedat Diker who has countless national championships under his belt will be on the start line for his first Kuwait Rally.
One of the top contenders of FIA Middle East Rally Championship Group N Class, Yiğit Timur is aiming the top spot in his class after having a misfortune in the first round. After showing his speed and driving skills in the first round, he mentioned that as a team they are very well prepared for this round. Timur quoted “All our preparations for the Kuwait Rally has been completed. As always TOKSPORT WRT has prepared our car in its best condition. With my experienced co-driver Ufuk Uluocak we will be representing our country and aiming the top spot in the rally”
TOKSPORT WRT won the T2 class in FIA World Cross Country Championship, the fifth round of the championship Baja Aragon in Spain. Qatari pilot Adel Hussein Abdulla and his French co pilot Jean-Michel Polato drove their Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and Nissan Middle East sponsored Nissan Patrol Y62 to victory after 3 days of highly competetive race. This victory has brought them one step closer to championship title.
TOKSPORT WRT drivers Menderes Okur & Bora Arabacı won the Group N class in the fourth round of Turkish Rally Championship, 41. Green Bursa Rally.The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX pair has competed in the gruelling gravel stages for two days. After the first three stages on day one, Menderes Okur topped the timehseets in the class and kept his lead till to the end of the rally to claim the winners spot.
