Berkay Besler still suffers from lack of luck at the third round of Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. He made a good start to the championship by completing the first race on podium at the season opener Hockenheimring race. The second race at Autodrom Most was challanging for him due to accident in the first race of the weekend but he managed to get some points for the Rookie class. This weekend at Red Bull Ring, he had a leak in his radiator due to a small impact in the qualifying and he could do only couple of laps and became 22nd. By the end of the race, he was 15th and and scored 1 point for Rookie class. He completed the secod race P12 and got back the leadership in Rookie class. The next round of the championship will be at Norisring.
Henning Solberg completed the WRC Rally Portugal on podium with his experienced co-driver Ilka Minor. In one of the toughest rounds of World Rally Championship, the duo kept their pace until the end of the rally and followed the strategy to be on podium. After the first stages, they were P6 in WRC2 but climbed to P3 in WRC2 among 16 other WRC2 drivers by the end of the rally.
What a weekend at Latvia. In the fastest rally of the ERC season, Chris Ingram / Ross Whittock duo managed to finish in P4 overall and now they are just 1 point behind the leader in championship. They are also still leading the ERC1 Junior with a P3 ERC1 Junior result. Eyvind Brynildsen and Cato Menkerud did some impressive times in Skoda Fabia R5 and completed the race P9 overall. Alexandros Tsouloftas and Antonis Chrysostomou are getting better in each rally and gaining more experience. They scored P11 overall. Thank you for all your support during the weekend.
An unlucky weekend for Berkay Besler at Autodrom Most. In the second round of Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, Berkay had to retire due to an accident in the first race. According to PCCD regulations, he had the right to change his heavily damaged chassis and engine but he lost his qualifying position and started from the back of the grid. The extraordinary work of the Toksport WRT team put him back on the circuit and he completed the second race 3rd in rookie and 18th overall. Next race of the series will be at Redbull Ring.
Kalle Rovanpera and Jonne Halttunen won the WRC 2 Pro category at Rally Chile, sixth round of 2019 FIA World Rally Championship. In a 3 day battle with his opponent Mads Ostberg, young Finn driver managed to score maximum points for the WRC2 Pro category and achieved the first win of the season.
It is the first time that Rally Chile is in FIA World Rally Championship calendar and tricky conditions of the stages made the tire choice and car setup crucial. Kalle did the a dominant fastest time in SS4 and took the lead of WRC2 Pro and conquered his first season win in the WRC2 Pro category by a 23.6sec margin.

Berkay Besler made his debut in Porsche Carrera Cup Germany at Hockenheimring. The young driver scored P3 overall in the opening round of the season on saturday and completed P7 in the second race on sunday. He is leading the rookie championship with the points he scored this weekend. The next race of the championship will be at Autodrom Most in Czech Republic.
Toksport WRT is leading the Team Championship for European Rally Championship after Rally Canarias. Double podium for Chris Ingram at Rally Canarias extended his lead in ERC1 Junior and he climbed to 2nd position in the overall leader board. Despite a slow start to the Rally and making the 16th time in the qualifying stage, he quickly gained his confidence and climbed up to 2nd overall by the end of the rally. Alexandros Tsouloftas was cautious at the beginning of his tarmac debut. He drove flawlessly and improved his times and managed to finish rally 4th in ERC1 Junior and 14th overall. By this result, he keeps his second position in ERC1 Junior.
Toksport WRT drivers scored the maximum points at Azores Rallye for ERC1 Junior. The opening round of FIA European Rally Championship had very difficult and tricky conditions and it was very challenging for drivers. Chris Ingram – Ross Whittock duo aimed to be on the podium for the overall classification and to win ERC1 Junior class for the rally. Despite having spins and flat tyres, they managed to win ERC1 Junior class and finish the race 3rd overall. It is the second time that Ingram wins ERC1 Junior at Azores Rally with Toksport WRT in a Skoda Fabia R5.
Toksport WRT’s Cypriot drivers Alex Tsouloftas and Antonis Chrysostomou did a very good job on their first experience in Skoda Fabia R5 and first time run at Azores Rally. They completed the rally second in ERC1 Junior and seventh overall. “Wow, what a rally! I never thought about it being this difficult, I’m really happy being second on the podium and those points for the ERC1 Junior, I’m really happy ” said Alex after the last stage. The next race of the Team will be Rally Canarias.

Toksport WRT’s young driver Berkay Besler gets his first win of the Porshe GT3 Cup Challenge 2019 Season at Bahrain International Circuit. Besler was strong all weekend long including the tests. He completed the first race in 6th position due to an impact with his opponent. Despite his bad luck in the first race, he had the fastest pace and completed the second race on top of the podium. In the last race, he was also second at the end of the race. The final race of the series will be at Bahrain Circuit on 30th of March.
The British duo Neil Simpson and Michael Gibson made their debut of German Rally Championship on Saarland Pfalz Rallye. It was a new experience and challenge on slippery muddy tarmac for the British driver but he managed to finish the rally in 5th overall in his Skoda Fabia R5. The next race for the duo will be at North West Stages Rally in UK.
